Steve joined the staff of Dillow-Taylor Funeral Home in 2000 and became a licensed funeral director in 2002. He is also a licensed insurance agent and actively assists in the funeral pre-arrangement program.

He is a Washington County native and is married to Lisa Clark Ferguson. They have one son, Matthew Ferguson and one daughter, Madison Faith Ferguson.

Steve is very active in the music ministry of his church, Lighthouse Missionary Baptist Church and sings with his family quartet, The Ferguson Family.

Steve's desire to make funeral service his life's work shows in his dedication to "serve the public with caring and compassion when they need it the most"
