Mr. Charles A. Davis, age 65, Elizabethton, passed away Thursday, August 6, 2026, at his home with his wife, Christine Davis by his side.
Mr. Davis was born June 13, 1961, in Johnson City, Tennessee to Deadrick & the late Betty Rogers Davis. He attended Daniel Boone High School and received a Machinist Certificate from Oak Ridge Associated Universities. He retired on disability on July 1, 2025, from GPM Investments, formally known as Mountain Empire where he had many special friends.
Survivors include his wife, Christine Miller Davis, Elizabethton; children, Christina Davis, Corpus Christi, TX, Derrick Davis (Amy), Limestone, and Amber Jackson (Chris), Chucky; Stepchildren, William T. Ramsey, Jonesborough, Heather Ramsey, Johnson City, Willis N. Ramsey, Elizabethton, Charity Ramsey, Elizabethton, Dedria Ramsey, Roan Mountain. Nineteen grandchildren, one sister, Anita Grant (Ira) Telford and two Niece’s, Latosha Grant, Jonesborough and Alyssa Hayes (Jon), Telford and two great nephews Carson and Connor Linder.
Funeral services will be conducted at 7:00 PM, Tuesday, August 11, 2026, at Dillow-Taylor Funeral Home with Pastor John Moore officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 PM Tuesday prior to the service.
Graveside services will be conducted at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, August 12, 2026, at Fairview Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Derrick Davis, Chris Jackson, Alex Davis, Willis N. Ramsey, Spencer Garden, Eddie Rolen II, Henry “Bubba” Rolen III, and Justice Rolen.

I grew up with Allen all the way from kindergarten/1st grade at Sulphur Springs thru graduation at Boone. He was one of the nicest guys I ever knew and always upbeat. So sorry for your loss - he will be missed by many.
