Mrs. Judy Marlowe, age 72, Telford, passed away Sunday, July 6, 2025, at Four Oaks Health Care Center.
Mrs. Marlowe was born on December 9, 1952, in Johnson City, to the late Enoch Pierson, Jr. & Kathleen Tilson Pierson. She was also preceded in death by a grandson, Kristian O’Brien.
Survivors include her husband, Robert Marlowe, Telford; daughter, Courtney Holtsclaw (Mike) Limestone; son, Shane O’Brien (Zach), Los Angeles; grandchildren, Ashley Holtsclaw (fiancé Logan Broyles), Abby Holtsclaw, brother, Michael Pierson (Janice), Germany; nephews, Terry Pierson and Dusty Shimkus.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 PM Saturday, July 12, 2025, at Dillow-Taylor Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 12:00-2:00 PM Saturday prior to the service. Graveside services will follow at Salem Cemetery.
The pallbearers will be family & friends.

I too, graduated with Judy and knew her from grade school through Washington College Academy… what great days those were! She, Freda Kinley & I were good friends
throughout that time. I remember playing a duet with Judy at West View Elementary in a piano recital. I also spent some nights at her home. I remember how her mother came into our room,, gently turned on a lamp and sweetly awakened us. I remember the grandfather clock dinging upon the hour throughput the night, and having breakfast at the kitchen bar…. Good memories! She was blessed with a “stay-at-home” mom… perhaps she did the same. Comfort to her family as she continues her life in perfect peace and joy surrounded by the love of Christ and the Father and many others who were surely there to greet her.
