Mrs. Carol Sue Carter, age 82, Jonesborough, passed away peacefully Sunday, December 3, 2023, at her home surrounded by her family.
Mrs. Carter was born in Minden, WV, to the late Jennings & Sarah Christine Stull Lilly.
She was a homemaker.
Survivors include her husband, Marvin Carter, Jonesborough; two sons, Todd Carter (Cindy) and Michael Carter; brothers, Ben Lilly (Frankie) and Steven Lilly (Alma); three grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and several nephews and nieces.
Carol was such a nice person, and she loved her family dearly. I'm glad I was able to know her. It was briefly but left a lasting impression. Best wishes to Marvin, Mikey, Todd and the rest of her family.
