Josh spent over 17 years working for the Johnson City Water Department after graduating from David Crockett High School in 2005.

He married Ashley Wallen Howard and they have a son, Jacob who attends Daniel Boone High School. Josh started coaching Jacob in T-ball and continued coaching him through many years of Little League, travel ball, and school ball.

Josh is a member of Abounding Grace Baptist Church in Jonesborough where he is the Senior Youth Leader and serves on the Executive Team.

He joined the Dillow-Taylor Funeral Home staff part time in 2019 and began working full time in December 2022.
