Mrs. Ruby Feathers Crain, age 74, of Chuckey, passed away at the Johnson City Medical Center, on Friday, October 30, 2026.
She was born on November 2, 1951, to the late Paul and Beulah May Feathers, in Michigan. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Francis Depriest and Marie Feathers and a brother, Jerry Feathers.
Ruby was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She enjoyed working puzzles, doing crosswords, and collecting angels.
She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Lonnie Jack Crain; children, Lori Ann Roberts (Robert), Steven Jack Crain, and Ricky Lynn Crain (Lisa); grandchildren, Brandon Mitchell Roberst (Kayla), Dustin Lee Crain (Olivia), Devin Alan Roberts, Robert Jack Crain, Jessica Michelle Crain, Justin Steven Crain, Jacob Ryan Crain, Andy Jack Roberts, Jerry Lee Crain, and Colton Gage Crain; great-grandchildren, Dixie Leigh Crain and Adaline Lucille Crain.
Funeral Services will be held at 3:30 PM, Sunday, November 1, 2026, at Dillow-Taylor Funeral Home with Pastor Chad Hooks officiating. The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 3:30 PM, prior to the service. Graveside Services will follow at Maple Lawn Cemetery.
