Woody Woodruff, born October 10, 1948, in Jonesborough, Tennessee, passed away on Monday, October 12, 2026.
A proud United States Marine who served during the Vietnam War, Woody dedicated his life to serving others as an emergency room nurse and owner of Metro Productions & Photography.
Woody is survived by his son, Christopher Woodruff, and his fiancée & special daughter Renee Russell; his daughter Shawna Woodruff, and her husband, Billy Davis III; granddaughters Callie Mae Cox, Caelyn Rae Cox, Catie Beth Woodruff, and Ashley Woodruff; nephew Jason McCallister; and special friends Larry, Bridget and Doug Baker.
He was preceded in death by Raymond Woodruff, Irma Livingston, Charlie Woodruff, Patricia McCallister, and Josh McCallister.
Woody leaves behind a legacy of service, love, and treasured memories. His photographs will continue to tell his story, and he will forever remain in the hearts of those who loved him.
Receiving of friends will be held Monday, October 26, 2026, at 12:30 p.m., followed by a procession to the Mountain Home National Cemetery for burial at 2:00 p.m.
