Mrs. Mary Frances Moody Hickman, age 103, passed away at her residence on Monday, October 12, 2026, after a long life well lived.
Frances was born on December 4, 1922, to the late Carl and Lottie Moody, in Johnson City, Tennessee. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Hickman; daughters, Janice Tarlton and Maxine Blakely; son, Kenneth Hickman; and her little dog, Casey.
She loved her animals, working in her flowers and her garden.
Survivors include her son, Robert Hickman (Sylvonia); daughter, Gail Stewart; grandchildren, Tina, Darrell (Tina), Mike (Julie), Jan, Sandy, Brenda, Crystal, Raymond, Karen, Allen, Danny and Bobby; great-grandchildren, Keri, Heather, Ashley, Kason, Sidney, and Ashley E.; special great-great grandchild, Brooklyn.
Graveside Service will be at 2:00 PM, Thursday, October 15, 2026, at Mountain Home National Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM, prior to the graveside at Dillow-Taylor Funeral Home.
