Mr. Daniel Brasure Sr., age 76, of Bear, Delaware, passed away at his son’s home in Jonesborough, on Friday, July 3, 2026, surrounded by his loving family. He was the son of the late Harry and Nancy Clyde Brasure, born in Wilmington, Delaware, on October 3, 1949.
Daniel was a Plant Manager for Dupont in Delaware. He loved to play golf, vacation in Aruba, and watch the Eagles and the Phillies.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving wife of 35 years, Helen Brasure; his brothers, Bruce and Mark.
Daniel is survived by his son, Dan Brasure, Jr., and his wife Helen A.; his grandchildren: Alexis Widner and husband Justin, Colton Brasure and wife Rebekah, and Savanah Baines and husband Shine; great-grandchildren, Deanna, Shea, Allison, Natalie, Mandy, Ella, Dawson, Peyton, Blake, Hannah, and Evelyn; special family members, John McDermott and Colleen Wheatley.
A private family interment will be held at St. Rose of Lima Cemetery, in Delaware at a later date.
