Mr. Michael Tadlock, age 66, Telford, passed away Saturday, June 20, 2026, at Johnson City Medical Center.

Mr. Tadlock was born in Washington County, Tennessee on July 22, 1959, to the late Beryl & Virginia Kathleen Treadway Tadlock. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Mary Saylor Carter, sister, Mary Jane Tadlock Smith and best friend since childhood, Larry Phillips.

Mike was a Mechanical Contractor his entire career and an avid farmer. He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, and friend. Mike approached life with a quick, dry wit and never hesitated to help others. A man who took much joy in the simple things in life. He loved golf, watching westerns, and riding motorcycles.

Survivors include his wife, Sheila Tadlock, son, Cole Standley (Becky); daughter, Katy Rodefer (Josh); grandchildren, Makayla Norton, Madison Norton, Kolton Standley, and Kaylee Standley; great-granddaughter, Adeline Norton; also, many friends, too many to list.

The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 PM Wednesday, June 24, 2026, at Dillow-Taylor Funeral Home.

Graveside services will be conducted 11:00 AM Thursday, June 25, 2026, at Maple Lawn Cemetery with Pastor Jeremy Dykes officiating.

Pallbearers will be Cole Standley, Kolton Standley, John Saults, Joe Bishop, Josh Rodefer, and Jody Rodefer. Honorary pallbearers will be Danny Holmes and Dennis Walker.

I worked with Mike for 17 years, and have been privileged to have called him a friend for 25+ years. Anyone that knew Mike, knew how good of a man he was. He was a great mentor, boss, and an even better friend. I will never forget the laughs we shared, and even the hard times we shared, they are very special to me and my family. He was always laughing at cutting up with my wife and children everytime he seen them. My prayers are with his wife and family, may god bless and comfort you in this time of grief. Mike you may not be here with us, but the input you had on us will live forever in our lives. Dear friend , you will always live in mine and my family's hearts forever, we miss you and love you.
