Kenneth Eugene Stills, age 33, passed away on Sunday, May 17, 2026, in Knoxville, Tennessee.
He was born to Roy and Virginia Stills on October 18, 1992, in Johnson City, Tennessee.
Kenneth was employed at American Water Heater. He was active in JROTC and graduated from Science Hill High School and loved football growing up. Kenneth was also a graduate of New Life and loved to hike to find waterfalls. He was a loving and adventurous soul who also tried to help anyone he could.
He was preceded in death by family members, Irene and Ottis Stills, Phyllis and Harry Nelson, Robert and Eugene Stills, Myles and Patricia Nelson and Angela Oliver.
Survivors in addition to his parents are Mary Chesser, James Chesser, Daniella and Lillian Stills, Kristina and Benjamin Evans, Elena Ollie and Charlie Evans, Devan and Jasmine Nelson, Allison Roman, Nevaeh and Raven Harsook, Tommy and Brandi Oliver, and Thea and Mia Oliver.
Celebration of Life Service will be held at 3:00 PM, Thursday, May 21, 2026, at Dillow-Taylor Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 3:00 prior to the service. The family welcomes anyone that wishes to pay respects to Kenneth.
I met Kenny when I worked at Knox Area Rescue Ministries. Kenny was in the New Life program. He actually graduated the program. I'm very proud of him. It really breaks my heart to know that he's no longer with us. I most definitely enjoyed our talks together. He will most definitely be missed. But one thing's for sure. He's with Jesus now. And I know that I will get to see him again. I would like for the Stills family to know keep your head up and stay with God. He will most definitely get you through this difficult time.
