Mrs. Myrtle M. Cavin, age 87, Johnson City, passed away peacefully Friday, April 17, 2026, at Johnson City Medical Center.
Mrs. Cavin was born on May 16, 1938, in Washington County, Tennessee, to the late Oscar & Anna May Caldwell Miller. She was also preceded in death by several brothers and sisters.
She retired from NHC Healthcare of Johnson City after 26 years of service.
Survivors include her two children, Jeanine McIntosh and Darren Cavin, both of Johnson City; grandchildren, Jodi Privette (Larry), Dillon McIntosh, Jeremy Collins (Kasey), Jonathan Collins (Mattie) and Sarah Stevens; great-grandchildren, Julia, Colten, Casey, Charlie, Carly, Kaylie and Aubrey; special cousin, Joann Williams; and several nephews and nieces.
The family will receive friends from 12:30-1:30 PM, Wednesday, April 22, 2026, at Dillow-Taylor Funeral Home. Graveside service will follow at Monte Vista Burial Park with Pastor Butch Stout officiating.
