I had not heard about Kay's passing and just the other day I thought about calling her, which I had done a few times in the past. Sorry to hear about her passing. I loved to call her and talk about their old Walker house they had lived in and how many folks had lived in the house over the years. Our memories go way back in the Sulphur Springs Community and also as kindred and 4th cousins back to Susan Walker Carson daughter Nancy Walker Jones Carson daugher of William and Susannah Graham Walker. I am certain she will be joining the heavenly choir.

I met Katheryn almost 8 years ago- what a ray of sunshine she was to all those around her. There have been many days when she would call me and sing to me and just make my day. The love of God just poured out of her! Our MyRide drivers dearly loved her- they would fight over her rides! It was our honor and privilege to serve her. I know she did more for us then we could ever do for her. I thank God for her. My prayers are with her family.

Kay always stood tall in my mind! Her sweet, caring spirit will never be forgotten. I admired her so much. Parker, the tribute "with a song in her heart" is high praise! May God allow those of us who remain to live out the songs of praise until we join her in heaven.
