Mrs. Emily Diane White, age 58, of Chuckey, passed away at her home on Tuesday, April 14, 2026, surrounded by her loving family.

Emily was born on February 26, 1968, to the late Bud and Marie Tolley, in Hampton, Tennessee. She was a homemaker and loved spending time with her family.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Ruth Turbyfill; brother, Bill Tolley; and father-in-law, Mac White.

She is survived by her husband, Jonah White; son, Ben White (fiancé, Emily) of Chuckey; step-daughter, Kaitlyn Neurenberg (Dakoda) of Jonesborough; sister, Helen Blevins (Bob) of Roan Mountain; brother, Ricky Tolley (Nancy) of Roan Mountain; mother-in-law, Judy White of Chuckey; several nieces and nephews; and special cousin, Sissy.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at 4:00 PM, Saturday, April 18, 2026, at Morning Star Baptist Church with Rev. Tony Darnell and Rev. Josh Mickle officiating. The family will receive friends from 2:00 to 4:00 prior to the service.
