Mrs. Patricia “Pat” A. Percell, age 87, of Jonesborough, passed away at the Johnson City Medical Center on Thursday, April 9, 2026.
She was born on September 25, 1938, to the late Eugene Waldron and Christine Waldron, in Roanoke, Virginia.
Pat loved her Lord and was a member of Jonesborough Church of God. She enjoyed baking, gardening, working in her flowers, and spending time with her family and church family.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Donald “Bud” Percell; brothers, Bruce, Kenny, and Reggie Waldron.
She is survived by her children, Donnie Percell (Brenda) and Tina Johnson (Gerald); grandchildren, Christy, Brittany, MaKayla, Matt (Rezzan), and Austin (Christina); great-grandchildren, Brayden, Chole, Callie, Rio, Mylez; brother, Gary Waldron (Mary); sisters-in-law, Glenda Waldron and Jean Ann Waldron; dogs, Bella and Mario.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:00 PM, Sunday, April 12, 2026, at Dillow-Taylor Funeral Home. A Graveside Service will follow at Fairview Cemetery with Pastor Mike Lusk officiating.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to the nurses on 5200 and Ballad Hospice for their wonderful care of Pat.
I am saddened to hear of Pat's passing. She and Bud were wonderful people.

So sorry to learn of Pat passing, my late husband and Bud worked together at Eastman for yrs and was good friends, always welcomed you into their home with love and laughter, prayers for Donnie and Tina grandbabies
