Ms. Janet Rogers, age 64, of Johnson City, passed away at Four Oaks Healthcare on Friday, April 3, 2026, with her family by her side.
She was born on February 13, 1962, to Geraldine Deakins Rogers and the late Rev. Jimmie Rogers, Sr. She was born in Washington County, and she spent many years as a Forklift Operator for Walmart, security guard at David Crockett, and worked for Eastman.
Janet was of the Baptist Faith, and attended Ridgeview Baptist Church. She loved her family, her horse, RC and had a great love of animals.
In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her Mamaw and Papaw Deakins and Mamaw and Papaw Rogers, and brother, Jeffery Rogers.
Survivors in addition to her mother include brothers, Jimmie Rogers Jr. (Teresa) and Jon Rogers (Jennifer); niece and nephews, Jeff (Leslie), Jessica (Bill), Jared (Mindy), and Jacob (Alex); great nieces and nephews, Zoe, Will, Damon, Isaac, Mason, Nicholas, Sophia, Andi, Lake, and Kolt.
Visitation will be held from 3:00 to 5:00 PM, on Wednesday, April 8, 2026, at Dillow-Taylor Funeral Home. A Graveside will follow at Sulphur Springs Cemetery with Pastor Jon Rogers officiating.
Pallbearers will be nephews and great nephews.

Mrs. Rogers, Jimmy and family, Jon and family, so sad to see this news. Janet was so sweet and kind. I knew her from our days in the Asbury community. Janet even rode to school with me a couple of times. My deepest condolences to you all.
