Ms. Betty L. Lykins, age 85, of Jonesborough, passed away on Tuesday, March 31, 2026, at Four Oaks Healthcare.
She was born on June 23, 1940, to the late Joseph and Avanell Griffith Lykins, in Louis County, Kentucky.
Betty was a kind soul who was treasured by many. She loved her church, enjoyed life on the farm and was an avid writer.
In addition to her parents, Joseph and Avanell, she was preceded in death by her brother-in-law, Raymond Smith.
She is survived by her sisters, Judy Smith and Elizabeth Logan; and several extended family members who loved her very much.
Betty will be laid to rest with her parents at McEldowney Cemetery in Kentucky.
