Mr. Bobby Jackson, age 79, of Jonesborough, passed away at home on Thursday, March 5, 2026, surrounded by his family.

He was born on January 2, 1947, to the late Frank and Rose Greene Jackson, in Washington County, Tennessee. In addition to his parents, Bobby was preceded in death by his brothers, Bud, John, Scotty, and Donald Jackson, brother-in-law, Jerry Edwards.

Bobby worked for Burlington and then for Wolfe Tree Services. He loved horses, country music and working in his flowers.

He is survived by his wife, Cathy Darlene Jackson; children, Christopher James Jackson and Kimberly Faith Jackson; grandchildren, Jacob Phillip Bennett and Baylen Anthony Rhea; stepson, Carl Dean Whit; step-grandchild, Cadric White; sisters, Shirley Bennett (Stanley), Sue Casteel (Wayne), Nancy Castell, and Pam Edwards; many nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be held at 7:00 PM, Monday, March 9, 2026, at Dillow-Taylor Funeral Home with Mr. John Verble officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 PM, prior to the service.

Graveside Services will be held at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, March 10, 2026, at Cherry Grove Cemetery. Everyone is asked to meet at the cemetery.

Pallbearers will be friends and family.
