Mr. Harry C. Dillow, age 74, of Jonesborough, passed away at the Johnson City Medical Center on Saturday, November 8, 2025.

He was born in Washington County, on March 1, 1951, to the late Thomas Persing and Mell Wagner Dillow.

Harry was a 1969 graduate of Jonesborough High School and went on to earn a degree in History from East Tennessee State University. He proudly served his country in the United States Army, where he was stationed in Germany. Over the years, Harry worked in construction, cabinetry, and management within the rental equipment industry. A man of many interests, he especially enjoyed antiques and spent countless hours researching both local and family history, work of which he was deeply proud. Known for his kindness and devotion to family, Harry served as a caretaker for several loved ones throughout their final years. He also held a special place in his heart for his nieces and nephews, offering them steadfast love and support through their lives.

In addition to his parents, Harry was preceded in death by brothers, Lt. Col. Tommy Roger Dillow (wife, Linda) and John Dillow.

Survivors include his sister, Margaret Dillow-Kent Lamons; niece, Sharon Dillow Keplinger and husband, Gerald; nephew, Thomas Maxwell Dillow; niece, Melanie Kent; several great nieces, great nephews, great-great nieces and great-great nephews.

In honoring Harry’s wishes no formal service was held.
