Mr. James Alvin House, Sr., age 84, passed away at his home surrounded by his family on Monday, September 29, 2025.

James was born in Syracuse, New York, on November 5, 1940, to the late Ada House. He was a proud United States Veteran, serving in the Army during Vietnam. Following his military service, he traveled and worked in the carnival.

Survivors include his children, Harold House, Cheryl House Allen (Chuck), Jamie House, Vronica House, Francies Price (Greg); grandchildren, Kyle, Eimma, James Jr., Sabrina, Cortney, Timothy Jr., Danny, Taylor, Sophia, Harold Jr., Nathaniel; ex-wife, Vonna House; former brother-in-law, Tracy Turck.

It was James’ wishes to be cremated.
