Mrs. Dianne Jackson, age 79, Bristol, TN, passed away Thursday, September 18, 2025, at Bristol Regional Medical Center.

Mrs. Jackson was born in Bristol, Virginia on June 20, 1946, to the late Thurman & Verna Ruth Roberts Edison. She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Jackson, brother, Randy Hackler and brother-in-heart, Ronnie Messimer.

She was a Charter Member of Parkway Baptist Church, where she played the piano. She spoke to various women’s groups. She was always entertaining people.

Survivors include her sister by heart, Susie Messimer, Johnson City; lifetime companion, Butch Shelton, Bristol, VA; four sisters, Sandy Crawford (Chuck), Orlando, FL, Becky Hanthorn (Dennis), Roswell, GA, Mona Griffith (Phil), Ottawa, IA, and Rhonda Hacklere, Orlando, FL; brother, Ronn Hackler (Krista), Beaufort, SC; niece by heart, April Maglothin (Andy), Atoka, TN; and several nephews and nieces.

Funeral services will be conducted 7:00 PM Thursday, September 25, 2025, at Parkway Baptist Church, Bristol with Pastor Gary Montgomery and Pastor Larry Montgomery officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 PM Thursday prior to the service.

Interment services will be conducted at 11:00 AM, Friday, September 26, 2025, at Glenwood Cemetery, 839 Bluff City Hwy. Bristol, TN. Family request friends meet at the cemetery at 10:45 am.

Pallbearers will be Danny Fee, Christopher James, Danny Messimer, and Lance Hanbey.
