Mr. Jeffery William Bedingfield, age 83, Jonesborough, Tennessee, passed away Saturday, September 20, 2025, at Four Oaks Health Care Center.
Mr. Bedingfield was born May 7, 1942, in Cincinnati, Ohio, to the late Roy & Shirley Adamowicz Bedingfield. He is now reunited with the love of his life, Cathy Bedingfield, who preceded him in death in 2011.
He was a member of Crosspoint Church, Jonesborough.
Mr. Bedingfield was a United States Army Veteran.
He was a General Manager in the retail industry.
Survivors include two children, Julie Billig (Jim), Windermere, FL and Richard Bedingfield (Stacey), Troutman, NC; two brothers, Bruce Bedingfield (Sherry) and Terry Bedingfield (Kathy), all of Cincinnati. OH; grandchildren, David Billig (Elle), Geoffrey Billig, Zachary Bedingfield and Megan Bedingfield; and several nephews and nieces.
He will always be remembered for the love of Corvettes he shared with his daughter, and the bedtime stories of the three brave princes he created with and for his three beloved grandsons.
There will be no formal services conducted in Tennessee.
Jeff was my neighbor and friend since my husband and I moved to Jonesborough in 2016. He was always willing to help, listen and talk if needed. I enjoyed visiting him at Four Oaks and he will always hold a special place in my heart. Thoughts and prayers to his family.

I worked with Jeff at Belk. He was a really nice guy. Soft spoken and kind and he loved Cathy and his family. My condolences to his children.
