
Mrs. Corinne W. Parnell, age 100, Kingsport, passed away Friday, September 5, 2025, at The Blake of Kingsport.
Corinne was born June 25, 1925, in Nashville, Tennessee, to the late Louis W. & Myrtle G. West. She was also preceded in death by her husband, William “Bill” Parnell, grandson, Chris Lunsford; sister, Lois Harper; two brothers-in-law; three sisters-in-law; four nephews.
She was a member and served in various positions within Jonesborough Presbyterian Church.
Survivors include two sons, Phil Parnell and wife, Diana and James “Jep” Parnell and wife Janice; grandchildren, Kim Chandler (Don), Amy Lunsford and Holly Hodge; great-grandchildren, Kaylee Earhart (Tanner), Blakely Chandler, Haddie Lunsford, Elsie Lunsford, and Mason Hodge; great great-grandchildren, Jax Earhart; brother-in-law, Wray Parnell; nieces, Lennice Parker and Claire Summerville; nephews, Craig Parnell, Ward Parnell, Clark Parnell, Jack Jinkins, and Bob Jinkins.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff of The Blake of Kingsport and Gentiva Hospice for their wonderful loving care.
Funeral services will be conducted 3:00 PM, Monday, September 15, 2025, at Dillow-Taylor Funeral Home with Minister Clinton Andrews and Minister Evan Wolfe officiating. The family will receive friends from 2:00-3:00 PM, Monday prior to the service. Graveside services will follow at Maple Lawn Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Phil Parnell, Don Chandler, Tanner Earhart, Jep Parnell, Todd Kelley and Mason Hodge.
