
Mr. Daniel Ray Jennings, age 35, of Erwin, passed away at the Johnson City Medical Center on Sunday, May 11, 2025.
Daniel was born on July 20, 1989, to Danny Jennings and Earlene Fender, in Johnson City, Tennessee.
He was a 2007 graduate of David Crockett High School and worked for himself as a handyman and in Construction.
Daniel was most importantly a father. He worshiped the ground his little boy walked on. Daniel had the biggest heart and loved his family so much. He loved the Lord and recently had started a close relationship with Him. Daniel enjoyed motorcycles and loved going four wheeling.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Mary Jane Fender; paternal grandparents, Clinton Jennings and Mae Casey; uncles, David Fender and Gary Tipton; aunts, Teresa Reifsnyder; special friend, Austin Peters; special cousins, “Little Red” and “Little Johnny”
Survivors include his wife, April; mother, Earlene Fender; father, Danny Jennings (Karry); son, David Eli Jennings; daughters, Alyssa, Alexis, and Taylor; sisters, Lacy Wales (Roger “Jr”), Lily Gay and Amber Metcalf; grandfather, Harold Fender; granddaughter, Blair Locklear; aunts, Christine Tipton, Marie Richey (Cliff), Pamela Norton (Jeff), Rita Jennings, and Lennie Jennings; uncles, Michael Casey and Chuck Reifsnyder; several nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family.
Funeral Services will be held at 6:00 PM on Sunday, May 18, 2025, at Horse Creek Mission Church with Rev. Wayne Rice and Rev. Brian Brown officiating. A Visitation will be from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM, prior to the service. A Graveside will follow at Gethsemane Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be TJ Faulkner, Austin Bowling, Jordy Fender, Jr. Wales, Heath Hanson, Keith McNabb, Dwayne Tipton, and Jeff Tipton. Honorary Pallbearer, Spencer Ledford.
