Mrs. Shirley Ann Pierson, age 72, of Johnson City, passed away at the Johnson City Medical Center, on Tuesday, April 29, 2025, with her family by her side.

She was born on October 12, 1952, to the late Harry Eaton and Ruby Miller Christian in Washington County, Tennessee.

Shirley was such a kind soul; she loved everyone and would do anything for anybody. She was a hard worker and could always crack a joke. Shirley loved the Atlanta Braves and Elvis. She had two special fur babies, Buddy and Dixie.

She was preceded in death by her father, Harry Eaton; mother, Ruby Miller Christian; and daughter-in-law, Elizabeth Pierson.

Survivors include her husband of almost 54 years, Charles Pierson; daughter, Anita Laws (Tommy “TJ”); sons, Scott Pierson (Helen) and Charles Pierson; grandchildren, Tanisha Parker (Warren), Taylor Pierson (Ethan), Brittney Pierson, Scotty Pierson Jr. “little man” (Emily), Angel Pierson, Rebecca Laws, Devilyn Laws; great-grandchildren, Robert Parker, Makala Parker, Jaxson Pierson, Maggie Pierson, Jacen Pierson; brother, Rex Eaton (Jenny); sister, Pam Fee; best friend for over 30 years, Nancy Graham; several nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family.

A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
