Mrs. Kimberly Bennett Church, age 55, of Jonesborough, passed away at her home surrounded by her loving family on Friday, April 18, 2025.
Kim was born on October 3, 1969, in Washington County, Tennessee, to Toni Campbell Bennett and the late Roy Bennett.
Nothing was more precious to Kim than her family. She loved her grandchildren and was the best wife, mother, nanny, daughter and sister. Despite Kim being so sick for so long, she was the most courageous fighter. She was always thinking of others before herself.
In addition to her mother, Kim is survived by her husband of almost 34 years, Todd Church; daughters, Brittany Silvers (Jay), Emily Thomas, and Kassie Church; grandchildren, Kayden Rupert, Willow Silvers, Nora Thomas, Piper Silvers, and Ellie Thomas; sisters; Karen Woodfin and Kathy Gay; father-in-law, Carl Johnson (Lynn).
Funeral Services will be held at 7:00 PM, Tuesday, April 22, 2025, at Dillow-Taylor Funeral Home with Pastor Pete Tackett and Pastor Steve Pate officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 PM, prior to the service.
Graveside Services will be at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, April 23, 2025, at Fairview Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Todd Church, Jay Silvers, Carl Johnson, Bret Richardson, Jeff Meadows, Brian Woodfin and Brian Johnson. Honorary Pallbearer will be Kayden Rupert.
The family would like to say a special thank you to Amedisys Hospice for their loving care of Kim, especially her nurse Amelia and her CNA, Priscilla.

I am so sorry for your loss. Todd and family you are in my prayers.
My thoughts and prayers are with your family. I attended High School with Kim and kept up with the entire family via her FaceBook posts, which highlighted her commitment to her family. I will miss those posts and her obvious joy and pride expressed in smiles that I know were often difficult due to her health issues.

I will never forget you and the conversations we use to have. How much you helped me heal when I was going through the roughest time of my life. My condolences to Todd, the girls, and their precious grandbabies. Kim, you were one the most bravest, and courageous warriors I ever met. R.I.P. my friend, no longer do you suffer

I am at a loss for words right now. Kim was a very special person, my youngest neice. She was such a loving person, ready to help anyone. I am praying for Todd, her daughters & her grandbabies, also her sweet Mom Toni, her 2 sisters, Karen & Kathy . We called them the 3 K's. They will have to rely on our stories about their Nanny & what a wonderful person she was. She will be sooo missed.

I met Kimberly through Facebook when she was selling some of her grandson's outgrown clothing. We met several times by that way. She was so nice and friendly every time we met and would sit and talk for a little bit. I could tell by our conversations that she dearly loved her family especially her grandson (he was the only grandbaby she had at the time). I'm so very sorry for this tremendous loss. I too unfortunately know the pain. My sweet momma passed 5 months ago and I’m still grieving her loss. I'm sending prayers for the whole family for peace, strength, and comfort during this time.
