It is with profound sadness that we acknowledge the passing of Mrs. Pat. Our family became acquainted with the Deweyers shortly after their relocation from Labelle, Florida, to Islamorada in 1975. The Deweyers were a diligent family who operated the Shell Shop. Mrs. Pat possessed exceptional artistic talent, creating remarkable shell art. My own interest in shell collecting flourished, and I occasionally assisted in cleaning shells and sea biscuits, which I would then trade for additions to my collection; several of these specimens remain in my possession. The entire family consistently demonstrated a willingness to assist others. Mrs. Pat's absence leaves a void in our lives. We extend our deepest condolences to Art, Billy, and the entire family. May God grant you solace and strength during this difficult time. Sincerely, Bobby & Melanie Gilliland
