Mr. Bruce Dean “Buddy” Lloyd, age 86, Gray, passed away Saturday, February 22, 2025, at Agape Nursing Home & Rehabilitation.

Mr. Lloyd was born on January 23, 1939, in Corbin, Kentucky to the late Carma & Josephine Gann Lloyd. He was also preceded in death by his wife of almost 50 years of marriage, Jane Lloyd, and three siblings, Bobby, Billy and Betty.

He was of the Baptist faith.

Mr. Lloyd was a retired truck driver. He loved riding motorcycles and was an adrenaline junky.

He was a polio survivor.

Mr. Lloyd moved to Agape the day before the Covid lockdown began. He lived at Agape almost 5 years. The entire staff called him Pappaw and he was well cared for until his passing. His family will be forever grateful for the love that was shown him and the care he received.

Survivors include a son, Chad Dean Lloyd (Beth), Gray; daughter, Tisha Jane Lloyd (Alex), Tampa, FL; grandchildren, Aspen Lloyd, James Carico (Sydney), Calvin Lloyd, Merry Remaley (Ira), Emma McMullen (Nate) and Milly Marmalade (James); great-grandchildren, Aiden, Sawyer, Liam. Leni and Theodore; and nephews and nieces.

Graveside services will be conducted at 11:00 am Wednesday, February 26, 2025, at Fairview Cemetery with Rev. Charles “Toonie’ Cash officiating.
