Mrs. Judy Mauk Sweeney, age 76, Bluff City, passed away Friday, February 21, 2025, at Bristol Regional Medical Center.
Mrs. Sweeney was born August 6, 1948, in Greeneville, TN, to the late Evert & Mildred Lewis Mauk. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Garry Sweeney, and two brothers, James and Ralph Mauk.
Mrs. Sweeney was an Accountant and enjoyed traveling.
She attended New Bethel Presbyterian Church.
Survivors include two brothers, Johnny Mauk (Donna) and George Mauk; brother-in-law, Eugene Sweeney (Mona); several nephews and nieces; and special friends, Lynn Hall, Sharron Phillips, Gloria South, Linda Boyd, Linda Gray, Mary Caruthers, Theona Bingham, Wanda Bryant, Wendy Stephens, and Eddie Jaynes.
Funeral services will be conducted 7:00 PM Monday, February 24, 2025, at Dillow-Taylor Funeral Home with Pastor Jeremy Dykes officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 PM Monday prior to the service.
Graveside services will be conducted at 11:00 AM Tuesday, February 25, 2025, at Salem Cemetery.
The Pallbearers will be Phil Mauk, Jason Mauk, Scott Whaley, Kyle Graham, Darroll Phillips and Gregory Hill.

Judy was my neighbor and my friend. She was kind, courageous, intelligent, and capably independent. She enjoyed a good laugh and she and I went out and enjoyed lunch together from time to time. She is missed.
