Lisa was one of my best friends. I worked with her at Holston Home for children. She served many children and was a wonderful therapist, especially for teenage children. She loved her animals, horses, dogs and cats. Lisa will be very missed by her friends and all who knew her. She was so special to all of us who worked with her. A wonderful, helping person who touched many lives.

The news of Lisa's passing is a devastating surprise. We were great friends in high school and college but hadn't touched bases since a now distant class reunion. Lisa was a model of grace and insight. I often went to her for advice. I'll miss her, but my memory of her will linger on. I'm glad she's in a better place.

Lisa was a great effective therapist. She helped many children at Holston Home for Children. We went to see Sound of Freedom movie together and we were greatly moved. Once she was screaming at the abusers. It was hard for us to see that. She had a great heart and empathy for children and animals . And she is an organ donor I'm sure and so still helping people. We thought she was still in remission, so this is a shock for us all. GOD bless her family at this difficult time.
