Mr. Danny D. Rogers, 76, Chuckey, went home to be with the Lord Sunday, February 9, 2025.

Mr. Rogers was born in Washington County, Tennessee, on December 31, 1948, to the late Rev. Ezra & Ruth Love Rogers. He was also preceded in death by an infant daughter, Danielle Rogers, and two brothers, Freddy and J.B. Rogers.

Danny was a lifelong member of Embreeville Cove Missionary Baptist Church.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his wife of 55 years, Sharon Rogers; son, Rev. Timothy Rogers; daughter, Rachel Rogers; and one grandson, Alexander Rogers, who was the pride of his life.

Funeral services will be conducted at 3:00 PM, Friday, February 14, 2025, at Embreeville Cove Missionary Baptist Church with Pastor Brian Brown and Rev. Dean Presnell officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00-3:00 PM Friday prior to the service. Graveside services will follow at Bumpass Cove Cemetery.

The pallbearers will be family and friends. Honorary pallbearers will be Lynn Casey, Charles Freeman, Richard Green, Jr. and the Men’s Sunday School Class.
