Mr. Ricky Allen Cheek, age 63, of Greeneville, passed away Sunday, January 26, 2025.
Mr. Cheek was born on August 30, 1961, in Tazewell, Tennessee to the late James Morgan & Zelma Saluda Cheek.
He was employed by Comcast for 33 years.
He was a loving father, and grandfather who enjoyed cooking, football games, and spending time on the lake.
Survivors include his ex-wife and caregiver, Bridget Cheek, daughters Charleston Cheek, and Nichole (Jon) Solomon. Sons Shawn Cheek, and Richie Cheek. One brother, Randy (Suzanne) Cheek. Grandchildren, Chelsey (Ty) Waddell, Bailey Cheek, Tanner Cheek, Dallas Solomon, Zellie Cheek, Peyton Cheek, Raigon Cheek, and Isaiah Cheek. Nephew, Jordan Cheek. Niece, Emily Cheek.
Memorial services will be conducted at 4:00 PM, Thursday, January 30, 2025, at Dillow-Taylor Funeral Home with Robert Williams officiating. The family will receive friends from 2:00-4:00 PM Thursday prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the family.
Known Rick for a long time. He was a great guy. Will miss him but know he's better now. RIP Rick

I'm sorry to hear Rick passed away. I worked with him at Comcast for 18 years. Rick was a kind man and showed me a lot about my job while we worked together. Everytime we'd speak, we always had a lot of laughs together. Myself and others who worked at Comcast will miss him dearly. I hope we meet again someday and sit on the lake and fish together. I'll miss you my friend.
Rick was a good friend and co-worker as we worked closely for years day and night, he was well liked and would make you smile, prayers to the family,
