Mr. Richard Dale Fitzgerald, age 77 Limestone, passed away peacefully at the home of his son, Ryan Fitzgerald, Saturday, January 25, 2025.

Dale was born on October 31, 1947, in Gray, TN to the late Cecil & Ruby Brown Fitzgerald. He was preceded in death by wife of 49 yrs Pamela Jones Fitzgerald, siblings Erma Marbry, Delta Buckingham, and Darrell Fitzgerald.

Dale retired from Washington County Highway Department as Assistant Road Superintendent, and spent his retirement years doing what he loved, traveling with his wife Pame.

Survivors include sons, Richard Dale Fitzgerald II, Johnson City, Ryan Fitzgerald and wife Jacqueline, Jonesborough; grandchildren, Cailyn, Averey, Peyton, Luke, Noah, and Levi Fitzgerald of Jonesborough; several nieces and nephews, and friends.

The family expresses their heartfelt gratitude to Cathy, Amelia and Amedisys Hospice for their exceptional care, and compassion shown to Dale during the last months of his life.

Graveside services will be conducted 2:00 PM, Tuesday, January 28, 2025, at Monte Vista Burial Park with Pastor Darin Harrison officiating.
