Mrs. Eleanor Morris, age 92, Johnson City, passed away Wednesday, January 22, 2025, at NHC Healthcare of Johnson City.
Mrs. Morris was born in Greensburg, Pennsylvania, on September 17, 1932, to the late William & Carrie Cramer Miller. She was also preceded in death by her husband, James Richard Morris in January 2019.
She was a member of Boones Creek Christian Church.
Mrs. Morris was an Executive Secretary for Latrobe Die Casting Company. She volunteered at JCMC Auxiliary, where she, for a time, served as Treasurer. She enjoyed working and managing missions in different churches that she attended. She had the gift of hospitality and enjoyed hosting guests in her home.
Survivors include her sons, Dick Morris and Scott Morris, both of Johnson City; daughter-in-law, Betsy Morris, Knoxville; grandchildren Karrie Morris, Jennifer (Kyle) Riederer, Chris (Carol) Morris, great-grandchildren, Silas Riederer, Audrey Riederer and Chloe Morris; and many beloved nieces and nephews.
Private services will take place at a later date.
Dick-I'm sorry to hear of your sweet Mother's passing. She was a wonderful lady. Heaven gained another angel.

Our prayers are with you, Dick, Scott, and family. I remember your mother visiting Johnson through the years. She was such a sweet person. Although it's just "so long" for now and a great graduation for her, her passing leaves a big hole in your hearts. May God wrap His loving arms around you and bring you comfort.
