She is survived by her husband of 67 years Jim Cain; beloved aunt, Phyllis White of Kingsport, TN; brother, Jackie McGinnis (Dorothy) of Church Hill, TN; sister, Bobbie Dae Taylor of Greeneville, TN and Daytona Beach, FL; and sister, Debbie Thomas of Lenoir City, TN; son, Tim Cain (Angie) of Mt. Charlotte worked several clerical and administrative office jobs including positions at Powell Construction Company and Holiday Inn Hotel in Johnson City, TN. However, her greatest and most fulfilling roles came as a wife, mother, and grandmother. She was very loving, supportive, and involved in the activities and life of her children and grandchildren.
Attending Tacoma Church of God and First Church of God in Johnson City, she lived out her faith in Christ by serving God, her family, and her community in a variety of ways. She lived a life that was inviting and inspiring to others. Charlotte’s final act of community service was her donation of her body to the ETSU Quillen College of Medicine Anatomical Gift Program. God made something very special when He created Charlotte, and each of us are better because of being blessed with her in our lives!
The service scheduled for January 11th has been postponed due to potential weather.
