I am beyond heartbroken that as her only living daughter I am unable to attend my moms memorial. There has been a winter storm that was predicted for days that prohibits myself along with other family from travel across the mountain. I want to take this opportunity to say my mom will be missed and I know she knew my heart and that I would have been there if it were possible. I have heard from other family who are also going to be unable to attend due to weather constraints. I am so sad. I appreciate family members that have reached out with love and respect for my mom. I will be praying for those in attendance today that there will be an outpouring of the Holy Spirit for comfort and grace. I will miss my mom.

Georgia was such a kind, interesting, and funny lady. I will never forget many things about her. Her love of Ed, life, and shrimp. Between her and my late brother, I am sure they are eating all of the shrimp in heaven. Her potato salad was delicious. Georgia, you will never be forgotten and always loved. We will meet again one day. God bless you Ed.
