Mr. Thomas Maples, age 82, of Erwin, passed away at the Center on Aging on November 26, 2024.

Thomas was born on April 27, 1942, to the late George and Zella Maples in Lee County, Virginia.

He proudly served his country in the United States Navy. Thomas was a Brick Mason and worked in construction.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, Joe Maples, Ron Maples and Buddy Maples.

Those left to cherish his memory are his son, Stephen Maples of Erwin; brother, Doug Maples (Joyce) of Indiana; sisters, Phyllis Monin (Dave) of Indiana and Jan Stigen (Tom) of Unicoi; several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be conducted 1:00 PM, Wednesday, December 11, 2024, at Mountain Home National Cemetery.
