I have known Shirley for many years. She and Wayne were great friends. Worked with Shirley at Ballad for many years. A sweet and loving person. Just found out this week if her passing. She will be missed.
Shirley was one of the sweetest people I've known. She was the person in Transport I could rely on to help with issues regarding beds or moving patients. She was a Mom figure to so many young people who started their careers as transporters at the hospital. An infectious smile. A wonderful hug-giver. A true lady. I'll miss her. God got a great one!
I sure do miss Shirley. Last time I saw her was when she came back for a recheck. Worked with her for many years. Love and miss you sweet lady.

Shirley was an amazing Christian . I feel blessed to be among her many friends. Her strong faith and in knowing our Lord and Savior brought her much peace throughout her illness.
She was truly ready to pass on to her eternal life with Jesus.
She will be missed by so many.

Shirley was such a wonderful person. I have known her for over thirty years. She loved her family so much and loved the opportunity to talk about them. I can remember her sitting in the stands watching Dave play ball in high school and also seeing her watching her grandkids play as well. She was such a sweet friend and she always made me laugh. The world was a better place with Shirley in it for sure. She will be missed! Love and prayers for her family.
Ms. Shirley was one of the sweetest lady’s you could ever meet.
I worked with Shirley at the Sears in Johnson City Mall.
You were a special lady and you will be greatly missed!
Working at JCMC for over 16 years myself, I’ve had to call for Transport many times over the years. Shirley’s sweet and always kind voice became so familiar over the years and she quickly became a friend. A friend I only knew by quick conversations, but we always took a moment to just chat before back to work. Eventually one day I heard her voice in the hall and instantly knew it was her. She was just as lovely in person. It was nice to now be able to recognize her and stop and talk when our paths crossed. One of the hardest working women I’ve ever seen. She will be dearly missed by so many of us. Thank you Shirley for your service to your community, to the patients, and all of us Team Members that couldn’t have done it without you.
I worked at JCMC many years ago. However, I have fond memories of Shirley. She was the kindest, most gentle lady in transport. She always had a smile. Your family will be in my thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.
I loved Shirley like a family member. Many times when I was in the Med Center, Shirley would always come to visit and see how I was doing. Shirley will be greatly missed by all that knew her. Rest easy sweet lady!!!
