Mrs. Billie Anne Jakobleff, age 87, of Jonesborough, passed away at her home surrounded by her loving family, on Saturday, October 19, 2024.
She was born in San Antonio, Texas, to the late Wilber F. Keeton and Mavis Keeton, on January 4, 1937.
Billie was a Registered Nurse and spent her life dedicated to her career. She served as a nurse for seven years in Saudi Arabia and was a nurse at the American Embassy. Bille was a member of the Volunteer Rescue Squad and was a county coroner in Green County, New York. She loved her cats and was a talented needlepoint artist. Billie and William loved to travel, flying their plane to Alaska and many other places over the years. She was a member of Jackson Park Covenant Brethren Church.
In addition to her father, Wilbur F. Keeton and mother, Mavis Keeton, Billie was preceded in death by her brother, John Riley Keeton.
Those left to cherish her memory are her husband of 45 years, William Jakobleff; sons, Scott Pearson and Roy Pearson; granddaughter, Leanna Pearson-Marcum (Casey Marcum); great granddaughter, Cayleigh Marcum.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 6:00 PM, on Thursday, October 24, 2024, at Dillow-Taylor Funeral Home with Pastor Jeremy Dykes officiating.
A Private Graveside Service will be held in New York.
