Mrs. Agnes B. Brown, age 87, Jonesborough, passed away Sunday, October 13, 2024, at her residence with family.
Mrs. Brown was born in Hungary, on August 6, 1937, to the late Johann & Barbara Bischof. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Jessie James Brown and an infant daughter, Mary Ann Carmen.
She was a member of Lighthouse Missionary Baptist Church.
Survivors include three children, Herman Brown (Karen) Florida, Barbara Faw (Paul), Johnson City and Agnes Dinova (Edward) Florida; grandchildren, Stacey, Scott, Jessica, Sammie, Lindsey and Jessie; and several great-grandchildren; and special friends, Marie Lowe & family.
Funeral services will be conducted 11:30 AM, Friday, October 18, 2024, at Dillow-Taylor Funeral Home with Pastor Perry Cleek officiating. The family will receive friends from 10:00-11:30 AM Friday prior to the service. Graveside services will follow at Mountain Home National Cemetery.
Our hearts are saddened to hear about Agnes passing. My wife and I sit in front of her at church and looked forward to seeing her each time we attended church. She always had a beautiful smile on her face that just brightened up our day. Prayers for the family and friends. God Bless
Agnes was such a beautiful, loving lady. She was always willing to help, provided for many children She will be greatly missed. So blessed to have known her.
