Ronald J. Levi, Sr.

Ronald J. Levi Sr. passed away on Wednesday, Oct 2, 2024.

Born in Kingston, PA, he was the son of Dorothy A. Levi and the late William T. Levi.

Ronald was a 1976 graduate of West Side Area Vocational - Technical School in Pringle, PA where he earned his certificate of completion for the Machinist/Tool and Die course. In 1976, he began working at General Cigar Company in Kingston, PA until 1980. He then moved to California where he began working for National Production Systems in Los Nietos, CA from 1980 to 1983. His father’s passing brought him back home where he started a family and began working for Culbro Machine Systems in Kingston, PA from 1983 to 1991. In 1991 he began working at Pride Mobility Products and remained there for 15 years. After his sons grew up, he then moved to Tennessee to join his brother, Tommy, and began working for Universal Tool & Engineering in Johnson City from 2007 until 2015. In November of 2015 he entered his last leg of working at A.O. Smith Corporation in Johnson City, TN until his retirement in 2024. Ron lived out the remainder of his life peacefully until the Nolichucky River took his hard work and spirit downstream.

In addition to his father, Ron was preceded in death by his brothers, Timothy Levi and Thomas Levi; and sister, Pamela Hodorovic.
Surviving are his son, Ronald Levi Jr. and wife, Holly, Smithfield, VA, and their children: Skylar and Ronald Levi III (RJ); son, Michael Levi and wife, Sarah, Luzerne, PA; their mother, Jane Levi, Courtdale, PA; mother, Dorothy Levi, Dallas, PA; brother, William Levi, Dallas, PA; and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.

According to his wishes, his body was donated to science as per the Restore Life USA, Elizabethton, TN.

There will be a Celebration of Life for Ron at a later date.
