Mrs. Regina Rose Elkins, age 66, of Chuckey, passed away at the home of her brother on Saturday, October 5, 2024, surrounded by her family.

Regina was born in Maryland on April 29, 1958, to the late Frank and Dorothy Gwaltney.

She loved collecting snowmen and traveling to the beach.

Reginia was preceded in death by her parents, and her husband, Bernard Elkins.

Those left to cherish her memory are her children, Thomas Elkins and his wife, Jessica and Christy Henderson and her husband, Jared; grandchildren, Natalie Moorman, Nathaniel Moorman, Alex Henderson and AJ Henderson; great grandchildren, Sophia and Blake; brothers, Tim Gwaltney and Mark Gwaltney and his wife, Sheila; several extended family members.

The family will be planning a memorial service and details will be announced at a later date.
