Mrs. Susan Littleton Hatchett, age 75, Jonesborough, passed away Thursday, August 29, 2024, at Johnson City Medical Center with her loving daughter by her side.

Mrs. Hatchett was born May 17, 1949, in Jonesborough, Tennessee to the late Frank Littleton Jr. & Vivian Louise May Littleton.

She was a member of First Baptist Church of Jonesborough and was a member of the Agape Sunday school class.

Mrs. Hatchett earned a bachelor’s degree at ETSU and her master’s from Tusculum University. She taught third grade for 30 years at Jonesborough Elementary School. She loved to travel and loved her pets.

Survivors include her daughter, Lisa Ann Hatchett, Jonesborough; brother, Steve Littleton, Jonesborough; niece, Andrea Littleton Duran (Javier); two great-nieces, Avery and Ella Duran; ex-husband, Jack Hatchett, Gray; best friends, Ida & Bob Shurr, Juanita Luttrell Church, Cherry Smith and Kathy Lloyd; and many special cousins, aunts and uncles.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the nurses at Johnson City Medical Center ICU Dept. 2600, especially Trevor and Micah.

Funeral services will be conducted 7:00 PM, Tuesday, September 3, 2024, at Dillow-Taylor Funeral Home with Pastor Lenny Smith officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 PM, Tuesday prior to the service.

Graveside services will be conducted 1:00 PM, Wednesday, September 4, 2024, at Maple Lawn Cemetery. Friends are requested to meet at Dillow-Taylor Funeral Home at 12:30 pm.

Pallbearers will be Bob Shurr, Jack Hatchett, Frankie Bacon, Rick Benfield, Lynn Loyd and Perry Phillips.
