Mrs. Norma Jean Denton McLemore, age 93, of Johnson City, passed away on Tuesday, August 13, 2024, surrounded by her loving family.

She was born on July 8, 1931, to the late Robert and Blanche Denton, in Johnson City, Tennessee.

Norma loved working and was employed for Wal Mart for over twenty years. She enjoyed shopping, going out to eat, sewing and making quilts. She especially loved spending time with her cat, Mack.

She was a member of New Hope Church of Christ.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Earl McLemore; son, Dennis “Keith” McLemore; son-in-law, Garry Hambrick; brothers and sisters, John, Bonnie and Helen.

Survivors includer her daughter, Patsy Hambrick; son, David McLemore (Tansie); grandchildren, Lindsey Higgins (Jason) and Whitney Johnson (Chance); great-granddaughters, Hannah Lane (Dakota) and Corabelle Johnson; great great-grandson, Kody William Lane.

A Graveside Service will be held at 1:00 PM, Thursday, August 15, 2024, at Mountain Home National Cemetery.
