Mr. Samuel Keith Sparks, age 63, Jonesborough, passed away Friday, August 2, 2024, at Johnson City Medical Center.
Mr. Sparks was born in Washington County, Tennessee on March 1, 1961, to Virginia D. Sparks of Jonesborough, and the late Samuel Clyde Sparks.
He loved the outdoors and sports of all kinds. He was a UT fan and watched all their football games.
He was a member of Heartland Fellowship Church in Elizabethton.
In addition to his mother, survivors include a sister, Constance S. Sluss (Greg), Telford; and a nephew, Matthew Sluss, Telford.
Funeral services will be conducted at 5:00 PM, Sunday, August 11, 2024, at Dillow-Taylor Funeral Home with Dr. Mark Harrod officiating. The family will receive friends from 3:30-5:00 PM prior to the service.
Graveside services will be conducted 11:00 AM, Monday, August 12, 2024, at Happy Valley Memorial Park.
Pallbearers will be Steve Legg, Nathan Coggins, Brian Briggs, Ronnie Breeden, Dean France, and Greg Correll.
