Mrs. Janet “Twinkie” Esther Busvek, age 76, of Jonesborough, passed away on Sunday, August 4, 2024, at Lakebridge in Johnson City.
Jan was born in Kellogg, Idaho, to the late Arnold and Arlene Falget Sagdal, on September 22, 1947.
She went to college in Yakima, Washington, where she obtained her nursing degree. Jan was a United States Army Veteran. She retired from James H. Quillen VA Medical Center where she was a registered nurse. Jan had a great love of horses. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and will be greatly missed.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Michael Sagdal.
Those left to cherish her memory are her husband of 42 years, Karlo Busvek; son, Vincent Spierto III and his wife, Olivia, of Stuart, Florida; grandchildren, Vincent, Karina and Grayson Spierto; special friends and neighbors, Ken and Lea Baker and Wesley and Shanna Snyder.
Janet will be interred privately at South Florida National Cemetery in Wellington, Florida.

I'm so sorry for your loss. Twink and Mike were friends I grew up with in Pritchard and Murray, and I'll always treasure those memories.

I’m so surprised and saddened to learn of Twink’s passing. She was my best friend in high school and her folks were second parents to me. My condolences to her family. I know she was as precious to you as she was to me. Take care of each other as you grieve.
