Mrs. Janice Lucille Garland, age 77, passed away on July 21, 2024, at the Johnson City Medical Center.

Janice was born in Erwin, Tennessee, on February 20, 1947, to the late Henry and Alma Casey.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by an infant child; brothers, Howard Casey, Millard Casey, and Henry Lee Casey; sisters, Mildred Faye Green and Lelia Briggs.

Those left to cherish her memory are her husband of over 50 years, Donald Garland; children, Dustin Garland, Mark Garland and Eric Garland; grandchildren, Ashton Garland and Destiny Osborne; great grandchild, Evi Garland; sister, Sharon Rogers; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be held at 3:00 PM, Thursday, August 1, 2024, at Embreeville Cove Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Timothy Rogers and Rev. Keith Malone officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 3:00 PM, prior to the service. A Graveside will follow at Bumpass Cove Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be family and friends. Honorary Pallbearers will be Lynn Casey, Danny Rogers, and Guy Brown.
