Mr. Billy Jack Henley, age 90, Limestone, passed away, Friday, July 26, 2024, at his home surrounded by his loved ones after an extended illness.
Mr. Henley was born January 20, 1934, in Washington County, Tennessee to the late Paul and Grace May Henley. He was also preceded in death by six sisters and two brothers.
Mr. Henley was of the Methodist faith.
He was owner and operator of Henley Farms and ran a Dairy Farm for over 50 years. He was employed by Pet Milk Company as a Milk Truck Driver for several years.
Mr. Henley was a Charter Member of the Nolichucky Fire Department.
Survivors include his wife of 68 years, Norma Bradley Henley, Limestone; children, Sam Henley, Paul Henley (Sandy) all of Limestone, Pat Hensley (Russell), Telford and Jennifer Henley, Limestone; four grandchildren, Brad Henley (Heather), Chuckey, Tabitha Henley, Florida, Nate Stephens (Emily), Gray, and Mathew Hensley (Stacie) Telford; eight great grandchildren, and two great- great grandchildren.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to Barb and Zonya of Caris Hospice for their thoughtfulness and loving care given to Billy.
Graveside services will be conducted 11:00 AM, Tuesday, July 30, 2024, at Asbury Cemetery with Pastor Jackie McGowen officiating.
Pallbearers will be Brad Henley, Matthew Hensley, Nate Stephens, Colten Hensley, Cody Hensley and Rigo Gutierrez. Honorary pallbearers will be the members of the Nolichucky Fire Department, Charter Members, Harmon “Doodie” Mathes and Lanny Love, and other honorary pallbearers will be Kevin Stephens, Gary Bradley, Darrell Woods, Kyle Moore, and Russell Hensley.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the funeral home for the funeral expenses.
