Mrs. Roberta Avon Corder, age 75, Jonesborough, passed away Wednesday, July 17, 2024, at Johnson City Medical Center.
Mrs. Corder was born on May 26, 1949, in Lenoir, NC to the late Howard & Mary Stone Myers.
She had worked at the Sitting Bull Restaurant in Gray as a cook.
Survivors include her husband of 59 years, Jimmie Corder, Jonesborough; children, Kim Hunt (Chris), Jonesborough, Crystal Oaks, Kingsport, Sonya Corder, Johnson City and Lisa Nickles, Kingsport; grandchildren, J.C. Hunt, Curtis Hunt, Jonah Hunt, Sierra Mann, Noah Chapman, Aden Sells, Brandon Nickles, Dalton Nickles and Evon Nickles; great grandchildren, Colby, Gracie, and Waylon Hunt and Guinevere Tucker.
A Memorial Service will be held at 6:00 PM, Wednesday, July 24, 2024, at Dillow-Taylor Funeral Home.
