Ms. Virginia “Jenny” L. White, age 92, passed away on Friday, July 12, 2024, at Agape Nursing Home.

She was born on January 26, 1932, to the late Clay and Mary Cloyd White.

Jenny retired from the Johnson City Power Board with over 45 years of service. She truly loved her job and when she wasn’t working, she enjoyed spending time with her family. Jenny was a member of Pleasant Valley Covenant Brethren Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Betty Carey; brothers, John White and Raymond “Bruce” White; niece, Tessa Carey; nephew, Sheryl Carey.

Those left to cherish her memory are a special great nephew, Adrian Platt; niece, Debbie Carr (Joe); aunt, Betty Ann Storey; great nieces, Ashley Carr, Haley Barkley, and Katelyn Mack; sisters-in-law, Janice White and Mildred White; several cousins and great-great nieces and nephews.

A Graveside Service will be held at 3:00 PM, Sunday, July 14, 2024, at Fairview Cemetery with Pastor Don Hilton officiating.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.
